In 1942, women would paint their legs to look like they were wearing stockings as all the Nylon was taken for the war efforts. Rather than going barred-leg women painted nylon seams on the legs to make it look like they were wearing stockings.
3. Test Pilot George Ejects From His Plane After Losing Control Over It
The plan of George was to take a photograph of the children in the airfield with the background lightning as it came into land. But, unfortunately, he lost control over it and ejected. He was involved in the Red Top-To-Air Missile Program and was a well-respected test pilot.
