Brazil Vs Mexico

 The match took place at Samara Arena. Despite several efforts from both teams in attempts to score, no goals were scored at the end of the first half of the match. At halftime, the score remained as 0 – 0. It went on likewise until Neymar scored a stunning goal at the 51st min and go things going. Brazil took the lead and was made even stronger when Roberto Firmino scored the second goal at the 88th minute, giving Brazil the lead with a 2 – 0 score. It was a clean win for Brazil.

 

Belgium Vs Japan

 The match took place at Rostov Arena. Despite several efforts from both teams in attempts to score, no goals were scored at the end of the first half of the match. Furthermore, At halftime, the score remained as 0 – 0. Genki Haraguchi scored the first goal of the game at the 48th minute, giving Japan the lead. It was followed by Takashi Inui’s goal giving Japan a 2 – 0 lead over Belgium.

This is where there was an interesting turn of events. Belgium made a stunning comeback with Jan Vertonghen’s goal at the 69th minute. It was shortly followed by Marouane Fellaini’s second goal for Belgium which leveled the score. Nacer Chadli scored a goal just a minute before the end of the match giving Belgium the victory. It was an unexpected turn of events for Japan and a close call for Belgium. In conclusion, Belgium won the match with a 3 – 2 score.
