Karwa Chauth is an auspicious Hindu festival. It is a day when traditional married women keep fast to seek a long life for their husbands. According to the Hindu lunar calendar, it is celebrated on the fourth day of the Krishna Paksha, or the second half of the Kartik month. So one can imagine the heartbreak and rage of a woman when she finds her husband, for whom she was keeping fast, cheating on her. There is a saying, ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.’
Wife Catches Husband Cheating On Karwa Chauth
An incident happened in Ghaziabad where a woman caught her husband with his girlfriend on Karwa Chauth. The wife and her mother were shopping for Karwa Chauth in a busy market in Ghaziabad. However, they came across the man hanging out with his girlfriend on a shopping date. Soon things turn dramatic for the man as the wife and her mother start beating him.
A video of the incident goes viral. In the video, the wife and her mother can be seen confronting and thrashing the husband in the busy market. When his girlfriend tries to rescue him and intervene, she ends up getting some beatings too. Have a look at the video here:

The matter was resolved at a police station in Kotwali, Ghaziabad. The wife was released with a warning, while the husband was charged with a ‘breach of peace.’ Well, to be honest, the matter should not be dragged into public places, and no one has the right to play with emotions.
