We are living in digitization world and we use it from buying home appliances to paying electricity bill.
Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India has taken an initiative in bringing Digital Locker system to us.
Inorder to enable the sharing of e-documents and there by minimizing the usage of physical documents, under the digital India program, this Digital locker system has been released.
With the help of this portal, it is easy to share the e-documents as it is authenticated and secured with your digital sign and Access Gateway.
Access Gateway provides a secure online mechanism to access e-documents from various repositories as they are stored based on URI (Uniform Resource Indicator). The gateway identifies the address of the repository based on URI.
You will be given dedicated 10GB free space for personal info storage that which is linked to your Aadhaar.
How It Works
Get ready with your Aadhaar Card no and sign up with Your current registered Mobile No or Email Id
First Enter Your Aadhaar No. in the text box named “Enter Aadhaar Number”
You will see two options for Sign Up, one is “Use OTP” and the other is “Use Fingerprint”.
Select Use OTP Option and Enter below. A password will be sent to your registered mobile no. & email id . Use that OTP password to complete the sign up process.
