In the match 34 of IPL 2018, Mumbai Indians faced Kings XI Punjab in a heated contest. KXIP stands on the fourth spot in the league table while Mumbai is on the bottom. Thanks to Krunal Pandya who scored the much needed 32 runs in just 12 balls and led Mumbai Indians to a 6 wicket victory over KXIP.

But the threat was in the form of Chris Gayle. Chris Gayle completed his half-century but got taken out immediately after that. However, KXIP still managed to put 123/3 in 15 overs. After a few hits from Marcus Stoinis, KXIP added 51 runs in the next five overs while eventually setting a score of 174/6 in 20 overs.

No doubt, he contributed the most for this victory, so he was selected as man of the match.

Krunal Pandeya and Rohit Sharma made the save in the nick of the time. Rohit Sharma played a few big hits and made 24 runs, on the other hand, Krunal Pandeya knocked 32 runs in 12 balls with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes. And, sealed the deal for Mumbai Indians in 19 overs.
