6. The Future Electric Car From Tesla

Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning founded Tesla; in 2004, Musk joined as chairman in Tesla’s board of directors. The Tesla Roadster was the first electric sports car built in Tesla. In 2020 Tesla launched its best-selling electric car, the Tesla Model 3.

Musk was funded in the SolarCity, founded by his cousins Lyndon and Peter Rive in 2006. In 2016 SolarCity was acquired by Tesla for $2 billion.

Elon Musk developed the concept Hyperloop for ultra-fast inter-city travel that could travel with a speed of around 750mph. In December 2015, Elon Musk created OpenAI, a non-profit AI research company. Elon Musk bought James Bond’s submarine car for $1 million at a London auction in 2013.

Elon Musk has six children, and all of them are boys. His first wife, Justine Wilson, gave birth to twins in 2004 named Griffin and Xavier in 2004 and a set of triplets named Damian, Sakon, and Kai in 2006. His first son Nevada Alexander Musk died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Musk said, “Books raised me – books, and then my parents. ” Musk read entire Encylopedia Britannica at age nine.

Elon Musk is dating Canadian singer Claire Elise Boucher known as Grimes, since May 2018. After two years, Grimes gave birth to Musk’s sixth son X Æ A-12 Musk.

 

8. Elon Musk And Larry Page Are Long Time Friends

In 2013, Elon Musk almost sold Tesla to Google for $11 billion. Tesla was not the company as it is today during that time. Elon Musk and Larry Page, a Google Co-founder, are long-time friends and Larry invested in Tesla. He also reached out to Apple CEO Tim Cook to sell Tesla, but Tim refused to meet Elon Musk.

He draws an annual salary of $1 from Tesla. Elon Musk, most of the fortune, comes from his share in stock. He has also seen struggles. There was a time when Elon Musk could not even meet his daily needs. He lived off at $1, buying oranges and hot dogs in bulk.

 

10. Made An Appearance In Iron Man 2

Elon Musk has made cameo appearances in many American sitcoms like The Big Bang Theory, South Park, and Simpsons. He also made an appearance in Marvel’s Iron Man 2 alongside Robert Downey Jr. Stan Lee, the creator of the famous Marvel character Iron Man, had based the character on American Businessman Howard Huges, Robert Downey Jr, who played Tony Stark in Iron Man, based his portrayal on Elon Musk.
