Education has become a business these days. Institutes have forgotten long back to provide quality education to students. For schools, marks and grades are important. And for colleges, they need only some research papers to show off.
Who is really caring about the students future?
Some parents are busy in earning money. They see whether they are giving what all their children want or not. Whereas some parents always compare with neighbors or relatives and harass their children to get more marks and good rank. And the teachers…most of them lack knowledge. Then how can they give to students? of course, there are good ones too. Nearly 300 years back itself, we lost our brilliant Indian education system.
Now what we have is an awkward education system which is making machines rather than human beings.
And this failure in education institutes led to coaching centers which are making crores of money.
Student’s life is the investment for these institutes. Almost every student pays fees to colleges and again to acquire skills, they join some coaching centers and again pay huge money. Parents end up in debts, students end up in some mediocre jobs but these educational institutes end up in earning huge money. Well, what is the solution for this?
The only solution which is in all of our hands is “Self-learning”. Today generation people are so lucky that everything is available on the Internet. And luckily because of Jio, it is accessibility is available at a reasonable and affordable price. You can grow yourself or you can spoil yourself. How you use technology and the Internet is in your hands. If you use it properly you will have a proper and peaceful life. But if you use the same technology in an improper way, you will end up in a stressful life. Let me give a practical example to make you understand better.
We all are using smartphones. There is obviously no one today who doesn’t have a smartphone. Now question yourself..how much time you are spending on your smartphone everyday? Write it down on a paper.
On what apps you are spending time? Most of you will answer either Facebook or Whatsapp or Instagram. Okay. You spent a good amount of time. What did you learn that helps you to enhance your career? Obviously, your answer will be NOTHING. Like this every day, you are wasting plenty of time. Now tell me, how can you get a good job that pays well. Instead of that, use your smartphone for educational purpose. Today we have so many websites like Udemy, edX, Coursera, Codeacademy and much more. Just answer yourself, what kind of skills you wanna acquire? Then search for concern learning platform, enroll and learn.
However, every company, even the government sees from where you got graduated. It is mandatory according to ministry fo education. So, you need to give your best and join the college where there are efficient faculty, infrastructure, and job opportunities. Among the countless educational institutes in India, IITs are the one that always gets on the top of the list.
