This time we will see Men In Blue in the shade of Orange as well. According to the new rules of ICC, every participating teams are required to keep two different colored kits for all televised ICC events. Only the hosts England will wear the same blue jersey throughout the tournament. This is to ensure that there should not be any visual clash for the spectators.

So, the teams with the same colored jersey will have to change their colors. The teams who wear the blue jersey will have to change their colors when they play against England. The reason, they are the home team and also have a sky blue color kit. So, India, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan will play in different color kits. As per the ICC release, the teams have been told about the color jerseys they need to wear for individual matches. That is the reason,  India will play against England in new Orange Jersey.

Other teams who have similar shades of kits are Pakistan, Bangladesh and, South Africa as they all sport different shades of green. As per the reports, Pakistan has been allowed with their traditional green jersey throughout the tournament as they are the home teams against the other green colored jersey teams South Africa and Bangladesh.

It is unclear whether it is a home or away format the ICC wants to follow. While some teams are being named as away teams, while some are home teams. The major reason for the different colored jersey is to give TV viewers and spectators the best experience. As per the reports, Team India will come back to their traditional blue against Sri Lank on July 6, as India is the home team for that game.
