It’s not so easy to believe that this 33-year-old Instagram star and fitness model is six months pregnant and expecting her second child.
But it’s true!
Back in 2015, Sarah Stage, during her first pregnancy with son James, posted a pic of herself in her ninth month of pregnancy. She faced backlash with people telling her consult a doctor and even body shaming.
Two years on and the 33-year-old Instagram star is experiencing the same thing all over again, following the announcement that she is expecting her second child. But this time she has little patience for the haters.
Sarah Stage, recently shared a progress picture to mark six months of pregnancy, but her baby bump is hidden behind a tight set of abs and people are baffled.
Comments on the Instagram post ranged from “what bump” and “I am so confused as to how this is possible” to the more brutal “six months pregnant? You are lying”.
Fed up with trolls, Stage posted another picture of herself on the beach in a white bikini at six months pregnant, writing, “I’m at a place in my life where happiness, peace and joy are my priority. Especially being #6monthspregnant, there’s no room for any negativity so please take it elsewhere."
“Baby #2 is healthy and measuring just fine. I would think that after having James, who was born almost 9 lbs [4 kilograms] and healthy, people would be more understanding during this pregnancy and keep their ignorant comments to themselves … we are all different that’s what makes us special and unique!”
I'm at a place in my life where happiness, peace and joy are my priority Especially being #6monthspregnant , there's no room for any negativity so please take it elsewhere ✌Baby #2 is healthy and measuring just fine I would think that after having James, who was born almost 9lbs and healthy, people would be more understanding during this pregnancy and keep their ignorant comments to themselves … we are all different that's what makes us special and unique! Following James’ birth in 2015, she posted this picture of herself just four days after her (3.82kg) son was born, which unleashed a whole new slew of “you’re not normal” comments.
She also reiterated that despite people saying that she was too thin during her pregnancy, she was happy and healthy.
“These days it’s seems like everyone has something to say, especially on social media. Most are very positive and I try to ignore any negative comments. My doctor says the baby is healthy and that’s all that matters to us.”
Talking about her second pregnancy,“I have a little bump, but this time I’m carrying a little bit differently,” she told PEOPLE while five months pregnant. “The doctor says the baby is a lot lower.”
Sarah, who has 2.1 million Instagram followers, went on to note that her workouts have been approved by her doctor, writing: 'Baby is perfectly fine in my tummy nice and safe while I work out.
The mom has also adapted her workout routine to her busy schedule, saying she typically does five to 10 minutes of exercise every other day instead of her preferred 20 to 30-minute sessions.
Sarah's is continuing with her daily workout plan and says that she does it in moderation.
Sarah, you proved the statement nothing is impossible with your determination to maintain six pack abs even in pregnancy. It is not so easy to maintain such body work out in that crucial time. You are just awesome.
Haters will always be there. Because when they can’t mimic people, they start feeling jealous and comments negatively. Just don’t bother them. Kudos to you!
