Every country has its own customs and beliefs, but entering into the architectural paradise of the world, Dubai, you may feel those customs as restrictions. 1. A Strict No To PDA!
Even a casual peck on the cheek is considered indecent in this country. They are not so cool about people showing their affection in public. So keep a check on your emotions before letting them run wild in the public!
2. No Drinking In Public
Boozing and drinking in public here may get you into some serious trouble. They have very strict rules regarding who can drink where! Also, drinking and driving may send you behind the bars, and that is one thing you probably do not want to get into!
3. No Music, No Dance
Now, this may seem a little extreme, as being a resident of India, we have habits of witnessing loud music and dance on the streets in or festivals. But, Dubai has zero tolerance towards people playing loud music and dancing on the streets.
4. Do Not Do Drugs
Dubai has very stern rules regarding drugs. The use, possession, and selling of illicit drugs is a criminal offense. Many foreigners have been put behind the bars for doing so.
5. Mind Your Language!
Never dare to use abusive or harsh language in Dubai. Also, make sure you say nothing against Islam. You are advised to keep your insights and opinions about their religion within yourself. Use freedom of speech wisely to avoid trouble!
