The Tata group, which was founded by Jamsetji Tata in 1868 and is headquartered in India, is a multinational conglomerate with 30 enterprises spread over ten industries. Since its inaugural flight on October 15, 1932, Air India has grown into a prominent worldwide airline with a network that spans the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Far East, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Caribbean. After taking over Air India in the last week of January 2022, the Tata group welcomed it back to its kitty after over seven decades.

Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power firm, is part of the Tata group’s infrastructure portfolio, which also includes Tata Housing, Tata Consulting Engineers, Tata Projects, and Tata Realty & Infrastructure Limited.
Telecommunication, Retail And Consumer Goods
Tata Chemicals, Tata Consumer Products, Titan Company, Voltas, Trent, and Infiniti Retail are among the Tata group’s retail and consumer businesses, offering a varied range of products and services.
Tata Communications, Tata Play, and Tata Teleservices are all part of the Tata group’s telecom and media businesses.
Financial, Trading And Investment
Tata Capital, Tata AIA Life, Tata AIG, and Tata Asset Management Company are among the financial services companies in the Tata group.
