Satyendar Jain, an AAP politician, and former Health Minister, was hospitalized on Thursday. He is placed on oxygen support after collapsing in Tihar Jail from dizziness. Jain had slipped in the toilet of the medical inspection room at Central Jail Hospital Number 7, where he was being evaluated for general weakness.
About Satyendar Jain
Satyendar Jain is an Indian politician who is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and occupies several posts in the Delhi administration. Moreover, he has been a prominent figure in Delhi politics, holding numerous key government responsibilities.
Satyendar Jain was born on September 1, 1964, in the village of Kirthal in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. He received his architectural education from the Indian Institute of Architects. He then began his career as an architect.

Satyendar Jain Arrested
Satyendar Jain was detained by the Enforcement Directorate on May 30, 2022, for violating the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) sections. He is currently being held in judicial custody as part of the continuing investigation.
On May 15, Satyendar Jain filed a plea in the Supreme Court, requesting bail. However, he has challenged the decision of the Delhi High Court, which dismissed his bail application in the said case.
Satyendar Jain Hospitalized
He was initially admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital and then transferred to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital due to breathing difficulties, according to the Aam Aadmi Party.
In addition, the Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, wished Jain a swift recovery, saying, “May God grant him the strength to overcome these challenging circumstances.”
