According to the reports, the Pakistani theater actress was offered a chance to perform in the party of riches. However, she refused to perform. Three men went to her house and tried to convince her for the performance but she refused. They tried to force her to do so but she opposes. This retaliation of the Pakistani theater actress pissed them off and they took out their guns and shot at the actress 11 times. The actress died on the spot.
One Of The Murderers Is A Former Police Officer
The shocking incident took place on the Saturday in Mardan city of Pakistan. It is also stated that one of the murderers named Naeem Khatak is a former police officer. He was arrested on Sunday while the other two murderers are yet to be arrested.
She Was Also A Renowned Singer
Besides stage acting, Sumbal had appeared in many movies and TV shows. Apart from the acting, she was a renowned singer. Her death has raised a protest in Pakistan. The women are coming out of their houses to show their anxiety about the matter. Moreover, they are demanding stiff punishment for the culprits.
A Similar Case In 2016
This is not the first time when an actress has shot dead in Pakistan. In the end of 2016, a similar incident took place when an actress named Kismat Baig was killed by two men who initially tried to kidnap her.
