Nitin Gadkari Shares A Glimpse Of The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway; Anand Mahindra Replies

Expressways play a significant role in the growth and development of the economy. They contribute to the country’s social advantages as well. Additionally, a road network is also essential for facilitating access to social, health, educational, and employment opportunities. A nation’s successful economy is reliant on the expressways that act as its arteries. Additionally, it reduces travel time, enabling more efficient travel and fuel savings. The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is a motorway that links Mumbai, India’s financial hub, with New Delhi, the country’s capital.

He said that on February 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would officially inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa segment of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The highway was initially scheduled to open on February 4, but that date was changed. “Change in the date. Now Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji will inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa stretch of the #Delhi_Mumbai_Expressway on 12th February,” tweeted Gadkari.

Due to this expressway, the journey time between Delhi and Jaipur will reduce by half to around two hours. The ministry also claims that it is a great example of first-rate highway construction. Additionally, the motorway will accelerate economic growth in the major cities.

The Sohna-Dausa stretch aims to facilitate and accelerate the transportation of people and goods between the cities. Along the route, several service centers and other facilities offer basic conveniences to tourists. Additionally, it will increase economic activity, create jobs, and enhance city-to-city connectivity. Furthermore, this is a crucial project for the nation’s infrastructure growth.

Anand Mahindra, the chairman of the Mahindra Group, recently retweeted a tweet from Nitin Gadkari, the transport minister. He tweeted in appreciation of his work as well. According to his words, this motorway will be India’s economic highway’s most important artery. Mahindra added that this initiative would reduce the distance on crucial connectivity links. This will significantly accelerate our GDP growth rates. Furthermore, he said, “Can’t wait to glide down it… Well done and thank you, Nitin Gadkari.”

The 8-lane expressway is expandable to 12 lanes. It will connect Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat. Additionally, it is a part of the first phase of the “Bharatmala Pariyojana” and will complete by March 2023.
