Miss Universe Philippines is the Philippines’ national beauty competition that selects the country’s representative to the Miss Universe pageant. The competition was launched in 2020, following the acquisition of the Miss Universe franchise in the Philippines by the LCS Group. It consists of a series of preliminary competitions and festivities that culminate in the gala coronation night. When one winner is named Miss Universe Philippines, she then goes to represent the country in the international Miss Universe pageant.

According to the organization’s panel of beauty experts, two Miss Universe Philippines veterans, Michelle Dee from Makati City and Pauline Amelinckx from Bohol, are in a close race. Michelle is vying for the title for the second time, and Pauline is competing for the third time.
