After KKR’s victory in Match 49, Match 50 IPL 2018 took place with Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians. Their paths crossed once again and one of the team could head into the top 4 teams on the league table. KXIP and Mumbai Indians collided once again in Match 50. Kings XI Punjab won the toss and they decided to Bowl first.

After the Powerplay Overs the KXIP bowlers generated struggle for MI and the captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed at a low score. But Mumbai Indians has some struggle left in them. And, thanks to Keiran Pollard and Krunal Pandya the team made a recovery. Krunal and Pollard added 65 runs for the fifth wicket before Krunal was dismissed in the 15th over. After the 15 overs, the score was 151/5.
