Kamal Kaur had previously come under criticism for using vulgarity in her Instagram videos and posts. Three days ago, she uploaded her most recent Instagram post.

“No emotion, no love, no f*ck. Bachia hoya taan bas shakk shakk shakk…”

She lived with her mother, two brothers, and two sisters. She left home for a promotional event in Bathinda on the morning of June 9th, the last time her family saw her. Police claim that her cell phone was still in use until the same day’s evening.

“We have got some leads in this case, and we are hopeful of cracking it soon,” said Bathinda Senior Superintendent of Police Amneet Kondal.

“Kamal Kaur’s mother informed police that her daughter had left the house on June 9 stating that she was going to Bathinda regarding a promotional event,” said Superintendent of Police, Bathinda (SP Narinder Singh). “It is currently impossible to identify the existence of any injury signs due to the advanced degree of decomposition,” he continued. Additionally, it was alleged that the car where Kaur’s body was discovered had fake license plates.

According to sources, a turbaned individual was driving the car, which was registered in Ludhiana, when it pulled into the Adesh University parking lot early on June 10. According to another officer, the driver parked the car in the parking area and walked away.

The police have filed a murder investigation and are looking at mobile tower location data and CCTV footage from the surrounding locations.

The police say they are working to track down the car’s location and determine whether it was left there for that long. Any new threats or conflicts in her personal or professional life are also being investigated by the inquiry team.

The police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination, which is expected to provide clarity on the cause and time of death.

Police assume that Kaur’s body was dumped in the parked car after she had been murdered somewhere else. Although the exact motive is yet unknown, police are not ruling out a connection to the threats she had received online in the previous few months.

In Punjab’s online community, Kamal Kaur Bhabhi was a dynamic, broken person whose life was characterized by a fearless online persona. Her narrative has sparked a high-profile homicide inquiry after she was discovered dead under tragic circumstances. Her life, final message, and the unsettling threats she encountered are raising difficult questions regarding social media, safety, and the hidden price of celebrity as the forensic and digital search goes on.
