The IPL 2022 began on March 26. This year the league will be a 10-team affair for the 15th edition, with two new participants – Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. There will be a total of 70 matches to be played at four locations across Maharashtra, including Mumbai and Pune. All the 10 IPL teams will play 14 league matches each (7 home and 7 away) in IPL 2022. Each team will play five teams from their group twice and the remaining four teams from the other group only once. While the 10 teams will stay in several different hotels in Mumbai, it is expected that they would stay at either the JW Marriott or the Conrad Hotel in Pune.
Before entering the bio-secure environment, everyone involved with the IPL 2022, including players, coaches, support personnel, match officials, broadcasters, and others, went through severe quarantine protocols. The players were tested on the first, third, and fifth days of their quarantine. A player entered his bio-secure habitat only after successfully completing the tests on all three days. 1. Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians will stay at the Trident Hotel.
