What’s the maximum amount you can think of getting these number plates? Up to Rs. 10-15 Lakhs. The world’s most expensive number plate is priced for sale at Rs. 132 Crore i.e. 14,412,093.99 Pound. This number plate is currently in possession of Afzhal Kahn who is the owner of Kahn Design. This is a well-known and world-renowned tuning firm which adds life to high-end luxury cars. Kahn Design specializes in tuning and customizing luxury-cars. This number plate has ‘F1’ on it.

‘F1’ represents Formula 1, which is the ultra-fast form of motorsports. It has a yellow body with black digits in the center. Currently, Kahn uses this on his personal Bugatti Veyron. The price at which Kahn bought this plate in 2008 was Rs. 4 Crores i.e. $619,000. Now, he is reselling it at a huge profit. Essex City Council had the ownership of this number plate before Kahn since 1904 for 104 years.

You can buy six more Bugatti Veyrons, 75 Range Rovers or 600 Ford Fiestas in this huge amount of money. This is really the world’s most expensive number plate. The advertisement says that the price of the car plate is only 110 crores, but after adding 20 percent VAT and transfer fees it has cost Rs 132 crores. In the UK, people own the number plate, so they can sell it or make a bid for it.

If this number plate is sold, then it will be the world’s most expensive number plate. Currently, this record is in name of the D5 plate which was bought for Rs. 67 Crores by India’s Balvinder Sahni.
