The idol was displayed in elegant maroon attire and adorned with beautiful jewelry. The old crown was worn by Lord Ganesha on Thursday. During the 10-day Ganesh festival, devotees visit the Lalbaugcha Raja for darshan.

Anant Ambani and the entire Ambani family have been a part of the association of Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal for a long time. They always take part in the immersion yatra of Lalbaugcha Raja. Balasaheb Kamble, who is the President of Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal. He expressed his feelings, saying,

“The 20 kg gold crown was donated and brought yesterday. After the first look, it was worn by Raja. The Ambani family has been associated for a long time with mandal, and we feel proud looking at their devotion towards Ganpati Bappa.”

The gift presented by Anant Ambani and the Reliance Foundation is phenomenal. It has added an element of luxury to the already iconic festival. Anant Ambani has been appointed as an executive advisor to the Lalbaugcha Raja committee, as he has strengthened his commitment.

The Lalbaugcha Raja is known for its iconic Ganesh idol. It is managed by the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal. It was established in 1934 at Putlabai Chawl. The Kambli family has been responsible for taking care of the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganapati idol for the last 80 years.
