After exciting games yesterday, Day 5, FIFA 2018 had three matches lined up. The matches were between Sweden vs South Korea, Belgium vs Panama and Tunisia vs England. Here’s how the matches of Day 5 went down. Read for their summaries.

 

Sweden Vs South Korea

The match took place at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. Despite several attempts from both sides, the halftime score 0 – 0. The match was in a for an exciting turn when Andreas Granqvist scored a goal for Sweden at the 65th minute giving Sweden the lead. South Korea made several attempts to score one and level out the score but all efforts went in vain and Sweden won the match.

 

Belgium Vs Panama

The match was held at Fisht Stadium. This is the first encounter between Belgium and Panama. Despite several attempts from both sides, the halftime score remained 0 – 0 up until, Dries Mertens scored a goal for Belgium at the 47th minute. In the 69th minute, Romelu Lukaku scored another one for Belgium giving Belgium a 2 – 0 lead. He also went on to score another goal making it 3 – 0 at the 75th minute. Panama was still desperately fighting to level it out but all in vain as they lost the match without any goals.

 

Tunisia Vs England

The match was held at Volgograd Arena. Their last encounter was in 1998. England was quick to goal as Harry Kane scored one for England at the 11th minute. Following that, Ferjani Sassi, scored one for Tunisia and evened the score at the 35th minute. It was a penalty goal. The score at halftime was 1 – 1. The match went on till the end and both teams were making several attempts to get the lead. Harry Kane scored a goal at the 90+1 extra time and he gave England the lead. England won the game with 2 – 1 score.
