IPL 2021 second phase is going on in UAE. The eight teams are fighting for the trophy. However, Sunrisers Hyderabad is almost out of the tournament with just two wins in 10 matches. David Warner has been Sunrisers Hyderabad’s most prominent player for the last five years. However, in this season, David Warner’s form is a concern. He has scored only 195 runs in 8 matches with a mere strike rate of 107.73 with two 50s and one duck. As a result, David Warner was also removed from his captaincy. Even Sunrisers Hyderabad has dropped him from Playing XI.

In the match against Rajasthan Royals, David Warner was not even present at the stadium. While SRH won the game, the second in the season, Warner was not in the stadium. Instead, he was seen cheering for the team from his hotel room. He even shared pictures of the same on his Instagram story. Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a photo after completing ten overs during the first innings against Rajasthan Royals. The fans started asking in the post about David Warner. One of the fans wrote: “Is Warner in the stadium? We didn’t spot him.”

David Warner’s comment more or less confirmed that he will not be a part of any upcoming matches of Sunrisers Hyderabad this season. He was the highest run-getter for the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise. He has scored over 4000 runs for them at an average of 49.55 and strike rate of 142.59. David has 42 half-centuries as well for SRH.

It is most likely confirmed that David will get released by the Hyderabad franchise ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. With two more teams coming up for the next season, David Warner will be the hot favorite pick in the auction.
