If you are wondering what place India secured in this exciting list, then yes, it confirmed the third position. This year India is home to about 169 billionaires with a collective net worth of $675 billion, according to Forbes. However, it has still a drop of $75 billion from last year’s net worth. It is safe to assume that the reason behind this is the dramatic plunge in the net worth of Gautam Adani. He lost about  $43 billion after the repercussions of the Hindenburg report. Gautam Adani was once the third richest person in the one.
