Mauritius received its grant assistance of 1,00,000 doses of Covishield vaccines under the “Neighborhood First” policy on January 22.

Many countries are approached to procure coronavirus vaccines. India is also ready to supply based on the requirement at home and production supply. It will be executed in the coming weeks and months in a phased manner. At home, India already started a COVID-19 vaccination drive. Two vaccines named Covishield from Serum Institute and Covaxin from Bharat Biotech are being vaccinated to frontline workers across the nation. It is good news that India is leading in vaccination and production of vaccines to overcome this coronavirus pandemic crisis that the world is facing for the last year.
