In preparation for the Bharat Bandh, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police have enforced Section 144 and implemented traffic restrictions across Noida. Commuters are advised to steer clear of unauthorized public assemblies and demonstrations. Furthermore, the use of private drones near government establishments is strictly prohibited. Intensive checking at all Noida borders will be conducted, with commuters encouraged to utilize the metro system to minimize traffic disruptions.

Delhi’s Traffic Woes

Delhi Police have issued a fresh traffic advisory, cautioning against routes affected by the Bharat Bandh. National Highway-44 beyond Singhu Border and connected roads towards Sonipat/Panipat are closed for general traffic, leading to significant diversions. Despite limited lanes open at the Gazipur Border and on the DND, traffic movement is expected to be slow. Commuters are urged to plan their journeys accordingly, especially during peak hours.

Navigating Alternative Routes

For those heading towards NH-44, Delhi Police suggest exiting via the Eastern Peripheral Expressway from the Singhu Border or taking alternative routes through Ghaziabad and Hapur Road. Similarly, commuters at the Loni Border are advised to divert through Inderpuri Loni and Mandola to reach NH-44 via the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Delhi-bound traffic from NH-44 should consider using service lanes along Delhi Dehradun Expressway to minimize delays.
