Consider this: you enter into a Royal Enfield shop and find that the pounding Hunter, famous Bullet, or even the timeless Classic is now less expensive than the brand-new Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max. Premium motorcycles from India’s most iconic brand have become more affordable as a result of GST 2.0, causing enthusiasm among bike enthusiasts and raising questions among gadget fanatics. The topic is circulating everywhere: would you rather showcase the latest iPhone or go home on a Royal Enfield?
You can get a Royal Enfield 350cc bike for the price of an Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max. Since the Government of India announced GST rate cuts, the costs of Royal Enfield motorcycles have dropped dramatically. The GST slab modifications will go into effect on September 22, 2025. Furthermore, the new GST slabs now include only two slabs: 5% and 18%. With the normalization of GST rates, the costs of Royal Enfield 350cc motorcycles are currently lower than the top-end 2TB edition of the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Display
The iPhone 17 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch ProMotion Display OLED panel. Furthermore, the brightness has been increased to 3000 nits for optimal outdoor viewing angles. An anti-reflective coating on the display and an LTPO panel are available for the first time in a Pro iPhone model. In addition, Ceramic Shield 2 has been included to improve screen protection and fingerprint resistance.
Processor
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is powered by Apple’s A19 Pro silicon chipset. TSMC creates the chipset using 3nm technology, which improves battery efficiency. The processor contains six cores—two for performance and four for efficiency. A 5-core GPU was also integrated to help with on-device AI operations. Finally, to address thermal difficulties, a larger vapor cooling chamber and upgraded modem chips were used.
Camera
Significant enhancements have been made to the camera, but there is no “night and day” difference. The camera module is horizontal, with a primary 48MP OIS Primary sensor, a secondary 48MP ultrawide sensor, and a third 48MP telephoto. However, the main enhancement is the 18MP selfie camera. Finally, the camera includes all of the features found on an iPhone, including the ProRes Log codec.
