Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, best known for her role in the popular TV series ‘Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai,’ died in a car accident. The actor died unexpectedly at the age of 32 after being engaged in a car crash in Himachal Pradesh early Tuesday morning.

Vaibhavi Upadhya was born in Gujarat on July 28, 1990, to a close-knit family that included her sister, Jinal Thaker, and brother, Ankit Upadhyaya. She was reportedly engaged to Jay Suresh Gandi.

Furthermore, Vaibhavi played Jasmine Mawani in the TV series “Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai.” In the show, she had a love interest with Rosesh, played by Rajesh Kumar. Her role added a fiery and humorous flavor to the show. She frequently entertained viewers with exact Gujarati to English translations that ended in hilarious situations. Vaibhavi’s portrayal of Jasmine became well-known for her characteristic Gujarati catchphrase, “Khot nat kehti” (I speak the truth). According to ETimes, Vaibhavi Upadhyaya and her fiancé were riding in a car when it lost control while attempting a tight curve. Tragically, the accident occurred.

According to SP Kullu Sakshi Verma, Vaibhavi attempted to escape the vehicle through the window, resulting in a fatal head injury. Meanwhile, the other passenger stayed undamaged and unharmed.

JD Matheja, the producer of ‘Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai,’ announced the untimely death of Vaibhavi Upadhyaya in a touching Instagram post. Matheja expressed his tremendous sorrow at the passing of his beloved friend and talented actress.

According to the post, Vaibhavi was involved in an accident in the northern region. Therefore, the family will take her back to Mumbai for the last rituals. They are scheduled for the next morning at around 11 AM. The producer’s chat with a famous English daily allowed him to reflect on the late actress. He stressed her significant contributions and cherishing their time together.
