Vibhu had to deal with a tough time in 2022 after doctors reported a neuroendocrine colon cancer diagnosis. The fact that the cancer was at stage four by the time it was found out made the situation harder to deal with.
For three years, he fought this with incredible courage. He received treatments in Mumbai as well, at the renowned Nanavati Hospital, where medical professionals worked tirelessly to help him battle the illness.
Throughout his treatment, he remained remarkably open about his condition. He regularly shared updates with his fans, showing them both his struggle and his determination to overcome the disease.
A Fighter Until The End
Despite having a serious illness, he kept his positive energy. He openly explained in a recent video that cancer was found in his liver, spine, bones, and lungs. He showed his determination, and despite this devastating news, he remained hopeful. He said,
“It was shocking. I was worried for a few days… But the only treatment right now is chemotherapy. Everything is going well. Chemotherapy will shrink it.”

The television industry rallied around him during his difficult time. Many of his colleagues and friends worked together to help him financially during his medical treatment.

News of his death reached fans and others in the entertainment industry after actors Kaveri Priyam and Karan Veer Mehra shared it on social media. Family members and friends gathered in Mumbai on June 2, 2025, for the funeral of Vibhu. Belief Road in Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, was where the ceremony was organized. He was survived by his mother, Anupam Raghave, brother, Aishwarya Raghave, and sister, Garima Singh Tyagi. Before he became famous, his father, Ravindra Kumar Singh, had passed away.
