6. Falling Sensation
When we dream, our body is paralyzed, but sometimes it happens that you start dreaming even before your body is on ‘off’ mode. This falling sensation is also called a hypnagogic jerk, it tends to happen when we are falling asleep. With this hypnagogic jerks, you might act out a dream like falling from the sky or falling of a cliff. These jerks are harmless. No one knows what causes these jerks.

The dream is a medium for our brain to sort out the things it needs to reevaluate and process before storing. Sometimes, most of us have seen recurring dreams or repeated dreams, it may happen with unresolved psychological issues our brain is trying to sort out. 8. You Don’t Pee Often
Most of us might have noticed that during day time, we pee often but during the night even for eight hours of sleep we hardly wake up for a pee. How does this happen? Well, its Anti-Diuretic-Hormone (ADH). An ADH released by the brain which switches off the need to urinate so often overnight under a circadian rhythm.
9. Exploding Head Syndrome
Most of us might have felt the explosion sound while sleeping. Suddenly, the person wakes up after hearing a loud noise, but in actual, nothing this kind of thing happened. It is also a type of hypnagogic jerk, similar to feeling like you are falling. It happens when you are heading towards deep sleep but your body has not achieved the paralysis yet and you are still on your senses.
10. Sleep Talking
According to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, about 5% of adults talks in their sleep. This last only about 30 seconds on average. As per Doctor Winter “It often happens within the first hour or two of sleep when your body is entering into deep stages of sleep, but there’s still enough muscle tone to produce sounds or movements that may accompany dreams.”
