Indian Women’s Team Will Be Facing Australia For The Semi-Finals

The match between India and Ireland was interrupted by the rain. Furthermore, as per the DLS method, Ireland needed 60 runs to win. However, they could not, and they lost by 5 runs. The target that the Indian women gave to the Ireland women was 156 runs. To say that Smriti Mandhana played an impeccable inning in this match would be a sheer understatement. She scored 87 runs in 56 balls, and her innings includednine9 fours andthree3 sixes. Consequently, she became the Player of the Match.

With this fantastic win, India is all set for their encounter with the Aussies. India will face Australia in the first semi-final at Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town, on February 23, 2023.
