According to reports, Shefali collapsed at her residence in Mumbai’s Andheri area late Thursday night. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, along with three others, immediately rushed her to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital. Despite all efforts, doctors declared her dead on arrival.
While there is no official confirmation yet, initial reports suggest that a massive cardiac arrest may have caused her sudden passing. However, the actual cause will only be confirmed after the postmortem, which is currently underway at Cooper Hospital.
A Mumbai police official confirmed to ANI, “Her body was found at her residence in the Andheri area. Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem.”
