Google announced the launch of the Pixel 8 series in India on Friday. They further revealed the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro will be available for pre-order in the country from October 5, exclusively on the e-commerce website Flipkart. Moreover, the company also confirmed the launch of the Pixel Watch 2 in India. The watch will be available for sale from October 5.

However, the price specifications are yet to be revealed by the company. It is said that the watch looks quite similar to its predecessor, the Pixel Watch. However, the Pixel Watch didn’t make it to India.

Pixel Watch 2 Specifications

Google does not yet released the information regarding the specifications. However, there has been a lot of buzz around the smartwatch. A recent report suggested that the upcoming smartwatch could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 series chipset, which could either be the Snapdragon W5 or Snapdragon W5+. Furthermore, it also mentioned that the Pixel Watch 2 could offer a battery life of over 24 hours even with its always-on display (AOD) feature enabled. Moreover, the Pixel Watch 2 is expected to run Wear OS 4.

The watch is expected to have an aluminum body. It is hinted that the watch might have four new watch faces, namely, Accessible, Arc, Bold Design, and Analog Bold.

The Google Pixel Watch 2 is an updated version of the Pixel Watch. This updated version will be available for sale in India, unlike the previous model. The price of the watch is still unknown.
