On Thursday, July 22nd, OnePlus held a virtual event in India to introduce its new smartphone, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. The gadget is a new addition to the OnePlus Nord series, which is already very popular. The original OnePlus Nord has been discontinued, according to the manufacturer, with the debut of the NordPlus 2.

Display
OnePlus Nord 2 will have an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display will be a 6.43-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080p.
Camera
The phone will have three cameras on the back and one on the front. The primary camera on the back is a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, according to the manufacturer. OnePlus has added two new rear cameras: an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfie sensor will be 32 megapixels.
Processor
The OnePlus Nord 2 will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI processor, according to the firm.
Configuration
The OnePlus Nord 2 will come in three different configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage. The phone will run on Android 11 with Oxygen OS 11.1 as customization. Gray Sierra, Blue Haze, and the India-exclusive Green-Wood will be available on the OnePlus Nord 2 5G.
Battery
The OnePlus Nord 2 will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery and will support 65W Warp Charge rapid charging.
Connectivity
Wi-Fi 6 and Dual 5G SIM capabilities are also included in the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, as well as Haptics 2.0 for improved feedback.
Price
The phone’s base model, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, would cost Rs 27,999. On August 20, 2021, early access and open sales will commence.The OnePlus Nord 2 will be available in 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB configurations for Rs 29,999 and Rs 34,999, respectively.
