If the match gets called off again on the reserve day, then there are two alternatives to go to. One is that the team that is on top of the table will be declared the winner. Jio Cinema commentator for IPL, Akash Chopra, believes that if rain cancels the match again, the team that has stayed on top of the league matches would be the winner. That team is Gujarat Titans. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings holds the second position. However, in the ICC tournaments, if the final match gets called off, both teams share the trophy.

As per the weather condition of the last season, if the match cannot occur even on the reserve day, the team on top is considered the winner.

Just like Sunday, there is a huge possibility of rain to happen today as well. There are predictions of winds and hurricanes to come in. Talking about the pitch report, the Narendra Modi Stadium is the one that is highly suitable for the batters. For the fast bowlers, pace and bounce would be there, meaning the outfield would be fast. Furthermore, spinners are bound to face issues in this pitch. The start of this season happened in the same stadium and between the same team GT vs CSK. It is Gujarat Titans that emerged as the victorious one.

You would be happy to note that the fans who bought the tickets for the finals on Sunday do not have to buy any new tickets. Furthermore, their old tickets would be applicable even today as well.
