590 Players Shortlisted For IPL 2022
IPL 2022 is the 15th edition of the biggest cricket league. Before the start of the tournament, the biggest excitement is about the mega auction. It is itself a thriller. The fans are crazy about finding their favorite players joining which team in the IPL. 1214 players have registered for the IPL 2022 player auction. Out of 1214 players, 590 players are shortlisted for the auction, 228 are capped, 355 are uncapped, and 7 belong to the Associate Nations. Also, among 590 players, 370 are Indians and the other 220 are overseas players. The big names like Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Chris Gayle, Mitchell Starc, Sam Curran are unavailable for the auction.

There are 48 players who have been placed in the INR 2 crore bracket. 20 players have been placed in INR 1.5 crore bracket and 34 players are in INR 1 crore bracket. Many marquee players like David Warner, Faf Du Plessis, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishan Kishan, Quinton de Kock, Mohammad Shami, Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Chahar, Steve Smith, Shardul Thakur, Jonny Bairstow, Kagiso Rabada, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Matthew Wade, Suresh Raina, etc. are up for grab.
