So, you need to give your best and join the college where there are efficient faculty, infrastructure, and job opportunities. Among the countless educational institutes in India, IITs are the one that always gets on the top of the list. Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has released the list of the top educational institutes of India for this year.

These are ranked as per a method designed by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), an initiative by the Ministry of HRD.

Before releasing the list of NIRF 2019, at the event, Ramnath Kovind, President of India, said that such ranking systems help promote a healthy spirit of competition between educational institutes. He said, “This is vital because all institutions are today competing for talent- teaching talent, research talent, the most talented students, and even most enlightened administrators.”

Bhaskar Ramamurthi, Director of IIT Madras said, “We are delighted that our efforts to constantly improve our course programmes, research, and industry collaboration, as well the creation of a world-class innovation ecosystem in India’s first-of-its-kind Research Park at IIT Madras, are being recognized.”

The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore topped the list of the best management schools in India. IIM Ahmedabad stands second and IIM Calcutta third, followed by IIM Lucknow and IIM Indore at the fourth and fifth position respectively.

 

In The Medical Category

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi was ranked first, followed by Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, and Chandigarh and Christian Medical College, Vellore is ranked the third.

National Law School of India in Bengaluru is the top law institute in India and Indian Institute of Technology stands first in Architecture. Here is the top ten list according to the Education Ministry
