He pocketed a then-record USD 2.5 Million from the single fight alone. He earnt a further USD 6 Million from his return to the octagon. However, his fairy-tale run didn’t last for too long. He failed a drugs test and was made to retire from UFC altogether. However, he did return to WWE and enjoyed a rather busy 2017 due to a large number of WWE events. The entire ordeal had a big part in his fall to second place but this is expected to improve. As he is back in the WWE and challenging on all fronts.
