Animals and birds all around the world are in a real threat due to climate change and various other factors. Recently, World Wildlife Day was observed on 3rd March with this year’s theme as “The future of wildlife is in our hands.” We have to understand the need of the hour and take appropriate steps to protect the endangered species that are on the verge of extinction.
So, here is the list of seven animal species that according to the ‘World Wildlife Fund’ list as endangered.

The population of Bengal tigers is decreasing rapidly. At present, around 2500 of these tigers are left in the wild. They are found in the mangroves shared by India and Bangladesh, the Sundarbans. The reason for their declining population is the climate change that’s affecting a sea level rise. Also, Government has launched many schemes for the protection of these tigers.
2. Giant Panda
The very cute Giant Pandas’ existence is also in danger due to the climate change. They are mainly found in the bamboo forests in western China.
