According to an analysis by CyberMedia Research, tablet market sales in India decreased by 22% compared to the previous year in the quarter ending in June 2023 but increased by 29% quarter over quarter. Apple leads the tab industry with a slightly more significant market share than Samsung.

In the second quarter of 2023, the total tablet market experienced a YoY loss of 22%, according to a report by CMR. The survey claims that the demand for 5G tablets has increased by 7% yearly.

“WiFi tablet sales climbed 12% YoY, securing a 54% sales share,” the report stated.

Deliveries of tabs from Apple and Samsung increased by 6% over the quarter. Samsung was the market leader with a 25.31% share, but Apple held a 25.38% share.

Lenovo’s sales fell by 30%, yet it could still hold third place with a 23% market share.
