Additional products Xiaomi wants to unveil at the MIX Fold 3 launching event coming up have started to emerge. The Redmi K60 Ultra, also known as the Redmi K60 Extreme Edition, and the Pad 6 Max, a larger version of the Pad 6 Pro, are on the company’s lineup as planned. In addition, Xiaomi has announced the upcoming release of the Smart Band 8 Pro, which resembles the Smart Band 7 Pro more than the Smart Band 8 itself.

However, compared to its predecessor, the Smart Band 8 Pro draws more firmly on the design aesthetic of more recent Apple Watch models. According to Xiaomi, the Smart Band 8 Pro sports a 1.74-inch AMOLED display, which is just 0.1 inches bigger than its counterpart in the Smart Band 7 Pro. The current model’s squarer form results from the larger size, which is why it is compared to earlier Apple Watch models.
However, the Smart Band 8 Pro will continue to have a flat display because Xiaomi decided not to use the 2.5D effect that Apple uses in its smartwatches. According to Xiaomi, the huge display will produce at 60 Hz with a 336 PPI pixel density and in 16.7 million colors, which hasn’t yet disclosed all of its technical details. While this also refers to the standard Smart Band 8, which made its debut in April, Xiaomi has not yet made any comments regarding availability worldwide. As a result, it might take the corporation a few extra months to ship the Smart Band 8 Pro worldwide.
