The two well-known telephone pranksters from Russia, Vovan, and Lexus, have struck once more, this time assuming the identity of Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine. During their most recent hoax call, they spoke with Henry Kissinger, a former US secretary of state. Kissinger allegedly admitted that Washington had offered Moscow assurances regarding canceling plans for NATO’s eastward expansion.

As the prank’s video clip became viral on Twitter. Many users responded to it. There’s nothing shocking about tricking a 100-year-old man, one person commented.
“Not the slightest bit amusing. Embarrassing. But that’s Russians for you,” wrote a different user on Twitter.
The Russian duo has previously made fun of a well-known politician. Vladimir Kuznetsov, also known as Vovan, and Aleksei Stolyarov, also known as Lexus, are two famous Russian comedians. They are notorious for calling well-known individuals in a prank, typically those who have criticized the Russian government or are involved in foreign policy matters.

 

Rumors Around The Russian Government

They have been connected to rumors that the Russian government or the Federal Security Service (FSB). The country’s leading security agency may be involved. However, the comedians have denied these accusations. Vovan gained considerable notoriety in 2011 when he pretended to be Arkady Dvorkovich. The deputy Prime Minister called Vladimir Churov, the head of the Russian Central Election Commission. He nearly won me over.

Churov was aware that President Dmitry Medvedev wanted to fire him during the conversation. A further notable incident occurred in June 2012 when Vovan called Vitaly Mutko. In 2014, Vovan and Lexus teamed together and started collaborating on their prank calls. One of their memorable practical pranks at the time involved claiming to be Georgian politician Mikheil Saakashvili and dialing Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti.
