Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka is seen in an animated conversation with KL Rahul after the loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Lucknow Super Giants not only lost the match yesterday but they were dismantled and annihilated by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Chasing the target of 167, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match in a record 9.4 overs with 10 wickets. This loss also put a dent in Lucknow Super Giants net run rate. They are now in sixth position with 12 points and need to win both games with a good margin to make it to playoffs.
Sanjiv Goenka Animated Conversation With KL Rahul
LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka lost his cool after his team LSG suffered defeat from SRH in Match 57 of IPL 2024. He was seen in an animated chat with LSG skipper KL Rahul. The video went viral and the visuals do not look good. Yes, we agree that the IPL franchise spends millions on players to get them on their teams and expect good performance from them. But these conversations should be done behind closed doors and not publicly. KL Rahul joined LSG in 2022. KL Rahul is the most expensive Indian player in the IPL worth Rs 17 crore. His form, intent, and strike rate are the cause of concern. However, as we say form is temporary and class is permanent. After the match, KL Rahul said “I am at a loss for words.”
LSG Needs To Win Remaining Two Matches
Lucknow Super Giants needs to win its remaining two matches to be in the race for playoffs. They are still in the race, but yesterday’s loss dented their chances because of the negative run rate. LSG will play against DC on 14 May in Delhi, and against MI on May 17.
