Singer KK Passes Away; He Dies After Live Performance In Kolkata

Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as Singer KK passes away due to a massive heart attack. He was just 53. KK was one of Bollywood’s famous and popular singers who lend his voice to many chartbusters tracks.  Singer KK died of a cardiac arrest after performing for a college fest at Nazrul Mancha. It is an auditorium in South Kolkata. He suffered a stroke and collapsed. KK was immediately taken to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI), where he was declared dead.

KK has shared the photos on his Instagram account while en routing Kolkata. He also shared a photo from the gig. In the photo, the caption reads,

Pulsating gig tonight at Nazrul Mancha. Vivekananda College !! Love you all 😘😘

Krishnakumar Kunnath was known for songs like Pal, Yaaron, Tadap Tadap, Aankhon Mein Teri, and many more. The songs like Pal and Yaaron are often heard during school and college farewells and teen cultural events.

KK has recorded songs in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Gujarati, Assamese, and Bengali language films. He was regarded as one of the most versatile singers of his generation.
