World Cup fever is on and everyone is supporting their teams. This win makes it 7 – 0 for India against Pakistan in the World Cup. The lost against India did not go well with many Pakistani fans. The captain of Pakistan Sarfaraz Ahmed has faced the wrath of fans.
After the loss against India, Sarfaraz Ahmed was disrespect by a Pakistani fan. A fan has requested a selfie from Sarfaraz Ahmed and insults him. The cricketing fans from everywhere came in defense of Sarfaraz Ahmed after he was seen being body-shamed in a video. Sarfaraz was with his kid. Sarfaraz Ahmed has been criticized by many people after the image of him yawning in the ground went viral at social media.
In the video, Sarfaraz was spotted with his son in the mall when a fan requested him for a selfie. The fan started calling him fat like a pig. The maturity shown by Pakistani captain earned a lot of respect from fans on social media. Sarfaraz ignored the insults and handled the situation maturely. He walked away without saying a word.
Being a cricket fan, criticizing a player for his performance is acceptable, but body shamming him and that too in front of his son is not at all acceptable. No player wants to lose a game. But, win and loss are the part of the game and fans should accept this.

After the criticism, the fan who was insulting Sarfaraz, later, he apologized to public and Pakistani fans.
Pakistan is in second last position in the points table of the World cup. To give them any chances to qualify for the semis, Pakistan needs to win their remaining matches of the World Cup. The next match of Pakistan is against South Africa on June 23 at Lords.
