In a statement issued on April 22, the MUO affirmed that the decision was brought about by TPN Global, the Miss Universe Thailand organizer, who disregarded the organization’s rules by permitting Chuangsri to compete in another external pageant before the end of her reign.

On Tuesday, April 22, Opal Suchata Chuangsri was formally proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2025. On May 31, she was scheduled to participate in the Miss World 2025 international contest in India. The Top 5 are:

As the first Thai representative to win Miss World, Opal Suchata Chuangsri made history. Before winning Miss Universe Thailand, Opal, a native of Phuket, was a student at Thammasat University’s Faculty of Political Science, where she was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in politics and international relations, according to a June 1 article on Nationthailand.com.

According to the story, she is fluent in Chinese, having completed Triam Udom Suksa School in Bangkok with a focus on the language. According to Missworld.com, Opal is also interested in psychology and anthropology and hopes to serve as a national ambassador in the future. She personally underwent surgery at 16 and has volunteered for organizations that assist breast cancer patients.
