The unwillingness of bringing up a girl and considering her as liability forces human to take these terrible steps. This case belongs to a girl from Jabalpur, who was sold to a red light area when she was just 12. And the most shocking thing was that this deal was done by her own mother. She revealed that the area she used to live in Nagpur was prone to human trafficking. She was forced to serve men who used to pay her mistress. She only got 20 bucks a day for her expenses. She was also shifted to Mumbai, where she spent two years doing the same job.

 

When She Tried To Run Away

She also exposed that she tries running away from Nagpur twice, but she got caught and was punished for doing so. She was tortured and threatened continuously and then sent to Mumbai. Then, she was again brought back to Nagpur, where she finally found out a way to rescue herself.

 

Then She Met Her Superman

She, fortunately, met a guy in Nagpur whom she told everything and also informed him about her family. He then contacted her family members and with the help of police, they rescued her. Her name was forcefully changed and was inked on her hand so that no one could ever recognize her.

India is a huge victim of human trafficking and this needs to stop for the betterment of the country! Few days back, there was a news from Delhi, that women are forced into prostitution by their husbands and in-laws near Dehli.
