Around 6:30 a.m. on August 2, Yanin apparently lost control of her car and crashed into a parked vehicle while driving in Chihuahua, Mexico, according to the Mexican Secretariat of Public Security, as reported by the local newspaper El Financiero. Yanin died two days after being admitted for medical assistance, even though she was taken to Hospital del Parque, a facility that was nearby.
