On Sunday, devastating images of rain wrath in Himachal Pradesh circulated on the internet. A distressing video, allegedly from Manali‘s Bahang, has surfaced amid news of the Manali-Chandigarh Highway being closed due to landslides. Furthermore, people are in horror, terrified. Car Swept Away

A car is carried away by an overflowing river in the footage. A parked automobile is seen being washed away in the Beas River, which has overflowed due to the constant rain.

 

Buildings Carried Away

Currents of water can be seen taking away a tiny business structure situated on the side of a river in another video that circulated on Twitter on Sunday morning. The structure housed an SBI ATM and two other establishments, which were dragged back and swept away in seconds as residents looked on in fear, according to the footage.

 

The Water Inside The Gurdwara Premises

In the meantime, water reached the space of Gurdwara Manikaran Sahib in Manali, and the main entrance became inundated by the high flow of water, according to a journalist who shared photos on Twitter.

 

Damage Caused By Heavy Rain

The report says numerous tourist cars parked on the Beas River bank near Manali were carried away. The video of the event, which was shared on Twitter, shows at least 8-10 automobiles drifting in the river.

Landslides along the overflowing Beas River in Himachal Pradesh have blocked traffic on the Chandigarh-Manali national highway between Mandi and Kullu due to severe all-night downpours. The landslip near Pandoh in Mandi district severely damaged the national route, keeping numerous cars stuck.
