She decided to check the CCTV footage installed at her house. What she discovered was quite unexpected. The footage showed a Flipkart delivery agent arriving at her home to drop off a package. While turning around to leave, he accidentally stepped on the edge of the rangoli, damaging a part of the colourful artwork.
However, instead of simply walking away, the delivery agent decided to do something thoughtful. He stopped and carefully tried to restore the damaged portion of the rangoli.
Resident Shares CCTV Video, Praises Delivery Agent
Drashti shared the CCTV footage on social media, explaining how the delivery agent had taken the time to fix the rangoli without anyone asking him to do so.
“Turns out, the Flipkart delivery guy had accidentally stepped on my rangoli while delivering my order. But instead of leaving it as it was, he took the time to carefully fix it. He even seemed to be making sure every little detail was right,” the caption of the video read.
She also expressed how much the gesture meant to her, especially after spending considerable time creating the rangoli. “I honestly wasn’t expecting such a thoughtful gesture, had spent so much time making that rangoli, and seeing someone take the time to put it back together without being asked meant a lot. Whoever you are, thank you for making my day a little brighter.”
