Both examinations will begin on February 16, 2027. However, their concluding dates are different. The date sheets were released on November 6, 2026, and students can check the complete timetable through the board’s official website.
CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam Dates 2027
According to the announced schedule, CBSE Class 10 board examinations will start on February 16 and continue until March 9, 2027. For Class 12 students, the examination window is longer. Their board exams will also begin on February 16 but will conclude on April 9, 2027.
The release of the timetable gives students several months to organise their revision schedules, identify subjects that need additional attention and prepare for the final examinations. Students should carefully check the subject-wise dates and examination timings mentioned in the official date sheet. This will help them avoid confusion while planning their preparation.
CBSE Practical Exams 2027: Check Important Dates
Before the theory examinations begin, students will have to appear for their practical examinations and internal assessments. CBSE has already announced the practical examination schedule for the 2026-27 academic session. For affiliated schools in India and abroad, practical examinations and internal assessments are scheduled between January 1 and February 13, 2027.
However, students studying in winter-bound schools will follow a different schedule. Their practical examinations will be conducted earlier, from November 9 to December 19, 2026. Students should contact their respective schools for subject-wise practical examination dates, internal assessment details and other instructions.
